Please let us all take a moment to honor and bless those who were killed, injured, scared or those who were heroes that came to assist those in need in the tragic Boston Marathon bombings and in the wake afterwards.
We were there, but thankfully, we were about a half mile away when we heard the explosions. Our family and friends were all safe and unharmed.

Here we are at the airport in Phoenix awaiting our flight on Saturday morning.
On Sunday, we hung out with Jim and Linda! We went to the Boston Marathon Expo, took pictures at the finish line, had lunch and then just walked around downtown a bit. Jim bought me the Mascot of the Marathon, Spike the Unicorn. I decided to name her "Baby Rosie", but Mommy wants to call her "Spikey Jim". I think we have agreed to call her "Baby Spikey Rosie Jim"! Now that's compromising, huh?
On Monday, we met up with Linda at Boston Common Park before we went to cheer on the runners and watch for Jim. Daddy and I went and took some pictures of ME of course!

Ok, this is more like it, here I am again!
At the race, this is just past the finish line about an hour or hour and a half prior to the bombings.
I was such a good cheerleader and told many runners "Good Job!"

This is how I spent the evening, watching my own movies as Mommy and Daddy watched the news unfold in Boston.
Tuesday, was a very quiet day. Not much to do and a lot of police everywhere to keep us all safe. We tried to go to the aquarium, but it was closed. We just got to say "Hi" to the Harbor Seals out in front of the aquarium.
Mommy ate her first lobster! I tried a bite, but I didn't really like it.
Hey, once again, this is not me! Daddy, please try to focus!

Then we went to the movies.
Ok, Wednesday was a great day in Boston! We went to the New England Aquarium!
Yup, that's right, I'm petting a SHARK!
Then on the wonderful Boston Duck Tour!
Then on Thursday, we drove FOREVER! Boring, boring, boring!
Friday, we went to Niagara Falls!
We went on the Maid of the Mist boat ride! Cold, but it was fun!
Next, we went to lunch, warmed up and worked on our winking skills!
Saturday, it was time to make our way back home! Short car ride to airport and then 5 hour flight home! It started to snow when we were waiting for our plane in Buffalo, New York!
Overall, we had a great vacation and enjoyed our time with our friends, seeing the sights in Boston and at Niagara Falls! Daddy, you didn't buy me enough souvenirs, though! Now we will just have to go back and get more next time! ;-)
